At Us & Coutumes, we have a been comited for a long time to only use North American wood species. Here's why:
- Local woods tend to ract better to our climate either during the summer when the humidity is high, or during the winter when our homes are very dry.
- Coming from nearer, our woods don't have to travel from te other side of the world. We're sure our planet appreciates.
- These woods are non toxic, easy to dye, sand and machine. They have proven their value as furniture materials many times.
